Holyoke: Through the lens of a Holga.

I shot these back in the fall months of 2008. I forget what made me go out and shoot these. But at the time I had a reason. These photographs are part of a larger collective body of work.

hmmm.. nice, You could do series of these in Holyoke. They fit the gritty character of the City well.

This is the beginning of a project that I will be working on this summer. Holyoke to me has a world of opportunities that I love to tap into.

I had no idea Holga made medium format cameras. I'm thinking of picking up a 120 Pinhole now.

I take my Holga very seriously. I do not regard it as a toy or joke camera as some people label it. If you are going to buy one, make sure you find the right place to buy them. There are a few sites that charge way more than they are worth. You can see this price gouging taking place at Urban Outfitters. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM! They sell the same cameras as other retailers such as Hunts, Different packaging, 75% mark up....
